Aligarh Muslim University The University grew out of the work of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the great Muslim reformer and statesman, who, in the aftermath of the Indian War of Independence of 1857 felt that it was important for Muslims to gain Education and become involved in the public life and government services in India. That is one of the reasons we decided to open an international science school five years ago and the Laurus International School of Science Primary School last April. Science does not equal complicated chemical formulas. Children are born scientists, with brimming curiosity, who naturally learn about the world around them. Our curriculum at Laurus International School of Science guides each student by providing opportunities to participate in new, educational experiences. Students are then encouraged to think scientifically by creating a hypothesis and guided to learn by experimentation.
