  1. Salman bin Abdul Aziz University (Al Kharj University formerly) was established under the Royal Decree No. M/7305 Dated 3/9/1430H. The University includes colleges in five Governorate of the Riyadh Region, Al Kharj, Hot Bani Tamim, Al Aflaj, Al Slayer, and Wadi Addawasir. Further, the University’s name was changed to Salman bin Abdul Aziz “SAU” under the Royal Decree No.45388 Dated 12/10/1432H. SAU includes 22 Faculty in various majors such as Medicine, Engineering, and Scientific, etc... It also holds more than 28.000 students. A distinguished University in education and community partnership.SAU is working on qualifying graduates that can compete in the labor market. It would be achieved by providing education that meets international standards, highly qualified faculty members, effective community partnerships, and a supportive management system. The University’s main strategic objectives that emerged from diagnostic studies and reference comparisons are as follows: Nurturing the students and developing their abilities. Attracting outstanding faculty members and retaining them. Developing education and providing an attractive educational environment. Maintaining continuous development and enhancing the qualities of the application. Serving graduates and interacting with the labor market. Fulfilling the infrastructure of graduate studies and scientific research. Completing University’s infrastructure. Building an effective local and global partnership. Growing SAU self-funding manners. Establishing a supportive administration system. Despite the sharp drop in oil prices. The budget of this year embodied the wisdom and balance of the policies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and its care to provide all necessary services to the people of Saudi Arabia following a clear vision of priorities and precise mechanisms to raise spending efficiency and develop government services to reach the highest standards of efficiency in the utilization of financial resources Taking into consideration all the needs of citizens with middle and low incomes.
