  1. The Commission recognizes PATTS course offerings on Higher Education (CHED), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC). The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) certifies that PATTS is an Approved Training Organization (ATO), rated for Airframe, Powerplant, and Avionics. Aircraft parts and engines are available for PATTS students to work on, dismantle, and assemble in the laboratories under duly licensed personnel's direct supervision. PATTS students are required to undergo On-the-Job-Training (OJT) with aviation companies, which include Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific, Lufthansa Technik Philippines, Aviation Partnership Philippines, and Philippine Air Force. This training prepares graduates of PATTS for integration into the industry. PATTS takes pride that many of our graduates have already passed the required examinations with PRC for Aeronautical Engineers, CAAP for Aircraft Mechanics, Specialists and Air Traffic Controllers, and NTC for Radiotelephone Operators. The Industrial Engineering (IE) program is designed to prepare the students for professional work in the maintenance, installation, design, and improvement of integrated systems of materials, equipment, information, methods, energy, and people. It covers Production Management, Operations, Research, Management Science, Human Factors Engineering, and Multi-modal Services. The course prepares students for Industrial Engineering services in Aviation and aviation-related companies, particularly in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facilities. The demand for Aeronautical Engineers in the Aviation industry is steady and continuous. Career opportunities in this field are as varied and open as the skies. The advancement of aerospace technology throughout the world is dependent in no small degree on Aeronautical Engineers. The present rate of growth in the country has caused a constant need for qualified men. The Aeronautical Engineering curriculum strives to prepare students for technical service and leadership and make them adaptable to various challenges in the aviation industry. Graduates of this profession are actively engaged in planning, design, structure analysis, construction and repair, supervision, operation of systems, and advanced facilities necessary to develop the industry. This course graduates are presently employed in the Civil Airworthiness Authorities, Aircraft Operators, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Companies, and other aviation agencies. The BS Air Transportation Course is intended and developed to meet the Air Transportation Industry's current requirements, in so far as management and operations are concerned. It is a course that concentrates on the modern economics of air transportation and airline operations and market behavior of air carriers in terms of traditional elements namely, aircraft selection, fleet planning, aircraft scheduling and procedures, techniques in forecasting airline traffic, logistics, airline statistics, government policies and regulations as agreed in the various assemblies, convened by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other world fora. BS Aircraft Maintenance Technology course is specifically designed and developed to prepare the students for the highly technical field of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul by imparting the latest knowledge and skills in the servicing of all types of aircraft to ensure a high degree of reliability and a high standard of safety. Graduates of this course are actively engaged in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of these commercial aircraft, fabrication of aircraft parts, supervision, operation of systems, and advanced modern aircraft facilities both in the government and private aviation enterprises abroad. This is a diversified course in Electronics and Communications, designed and developed specifically for Aviation Electronics used in airborne and ground equipment introduced for conventional and wide-bodied aircraft, emphasizing air navigation and computer communications. The course covers the operation and maintenance of aircraft instruments from an engineering point of view. Present-day aircraft use computerized electronic airborne equipment, highly sophisticated ground pieces of equipment have likewise been installed in numerous modern airports, both domestic and international. The course is conceptualized to meet the Airline Business Administration field's current demand, especially in the Marketing, Logistics, Cargo, and Freight Operations from a well-trained and competent staff pool. Industry practitioners from the airline and aviation industries and passenger/cargo handling and freight forwarding businesses constitute the core of the faculty. The Bachelor of Science in Airline Business Administration Department assures students of a balanced curriculum to acquire a solid foundation of general business knowledge, acquaints them with business marketing principles and theories, explores all facets of aviation business administration and management, and enables them to determine the factors which affect the effectiveness of the system in high-powered multi-modal industries. As one of the significant industries envisioned to usher our country's unprecedented development, the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Program is offered in collaboration with our country's economic breakthrough. It consists of studying theories, concepts, and principles about tourism's behavioral, sociological, political, economic, psychological, and cultural aspects. The course concerns itself in particular with the patterns and changes in tourism development. This is a management-oriented course that focuses on the planning and development of the tourism industry. It highlights the modern and fast air transport-system, the airline industry.
