  1. Welcome to Loreto College Marryatville, South Australia's leading all-girls day and boarding school, catering for students from Early Learning to Year 12. The College was established in 1905 and is set on beautiful heritage grounds, located in Marryatville, an inner-eastern suburb of Adelaide. Loreto girls have a long and steady tradition of State and National achievement in a range of curriculum areas producing two South Australia's Rhodes Scholars and one Schwarzman Scholar. Likewise, our girls have represented Loreto at a State and National level in a wide variety of individual and team sports. The Australian Curriculum is the Reception to Year 10 curriculum framework for schools in South Australia. It sets the expectations for what students are taught across the various learning areas English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, The Arts, Technologies, Health, and Physical Education and Languages. A rich, and multi-dimensional framework, the Australian Curriculum provides teaching staff with the flexibility to design interdisciplinary, inquiry-based learning opportunities that allow our students to experience a world beyond their own. In addition to the Australian Curriculum, learning at Loreto is also informed by the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum, the Crossway Catholic Education curriculum, and The Made in the Image of God Human Sexuality Education program for SA Catholic Schools. Students in the Senior Years will complete the South Australian Certificate of Education. The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is an internationally recognized qualification that provides various study options for students, with the flexibility to find an ideal pathway to post-secondary education.
