Ibn Khaldun University was established on 7 Dzul Qaeda 1380 H to coincide with April 23, 1961 AD following the Decision of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Khaldun Foundation, Jakarta. 31 / DPP / 1961 dated April 23, 1961. At the beginning of the establishment, Ibn Khaldun University has 4 (four) faculties. Following the organization's development plan and the community's demands, now Ibn Khaldun University has 6 (six) faculties and 1 (one) graduate school with 22 courses. UIKA Rector of Bogor is currently Dr. HE Bahruddin, M.Ag. Selected through a highly democratic and transparent election process at the University Senate meeting. It is expected that Ibn Khaldun University will be more open, modern, democratic, and have a place in the hearts of people, especially the City and Bogor Regency and surrounding areas. In his leadership, the Rector was accompanied by 4 (four) Vice-Rectors, namely Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Vice-Rector for Resource Management, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Vice-Rector for Relationship and Cooperation. Vision is to Become a Superior University Based on Islam and Technology in 2025. The mission is to organize only higher education programs based on Islamic values and the application of technology. Developing science, technology, and art for society's welfare as the embodiment of the greatness of Islamic teachings. Develop cooperation in national, regional, and international environments to implement the college tri dharma program. Aim our Being an Islamic University with excellence in learning, research, and community service based on Islamic values and application of technology. Produce academic beings who are noble, creative, innovative, and relevant to community needs dynamics. Produce science, technology, and art that can improve the quality of community welfare by Islamic teachings. Establish cooperation in national, regional, and international scope in implementing the college tri dharma program. The green flag of UIKA symbolizes Islam; there is a golden yellow symbol that means success and prosperity in the middle. The flag of the Faculty of Economy yellow symbolizes prosperity. The flag of the Law Faculty is red, representing justice the flag of the College of Teacher Training and Education pink, symbolizing love in education the flag of the light green Faculty of Islam, symbolizing the Islamic shari'ah the banner of the dark blue Faculty of Engineering, symbolizing diligently the flag of the Faculty of Health Sciences is purple, the hope and the spirit of healthy living and the flag of the dark green Post-Graduate School symbolizes the greatness of Islam. UIKA has a golden yellow pearl, seven winged pearl shell, in which there are pearls, torches, with two binders of six tongues of fire, and a star framed by a five-page text containing the University of Ibn Khaldun Bogor green-colored, with the following explanation The pearl shell symbolizes the philosophy of science, a precious thing the golden yellow color symbolizes greatness and prosperity seven wings symbolize the time Ibn Khaldun University was founded December 10, 1959, has seven faculties dated April 23, 1961, when UIKA broke away from Ibn Khaldun University, the emblem was retained. Pearls symbolize that searching and exploring knowledge is not easy. The torch symbolizes the meaning of light as a guide, while the two binders symbolize two creed sentences. Six flames symbolize the pillars of faith. The star symbolizes Islam as the source of all sources of law. The five-sided frame symbolizes the pillars of Islam. Mars UIKA is a song that describes the spirit of UIKA.
