  1. Students at Dyatmika can dream big dreams. The school’s commitment to an academically excellent education means that our students can knock on the doors of the world’s top universities and colleges and find that they open wide to them. At the same time, Dyatmika offers students a real breadth of experience outside the classroom that allows them to find and follow their passions. Dyatmika values the unique culture and traditions of Bali through the many workshops, classes, and performances that our students are involved in. Our school does celebrate Budaya Bali and actively preserves this unique culture in the younger generation. Beyond that, Dyatmika provides an environment for students to develop skills to move between cultures with sensitivity and awareness. Going into Early Childhood and Primary classrooms you see and hear students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds immersed and learning in both Bahasa Indonesia and in English. This is also the case in the school grounds as they move between languages seamlessly while they play, socialize or take part in Extra-Curricular Activities. In High School, teaching is conducted in English so that students can have great success in the Cambridge examinations, but all students continue to study Bahasa Indonesia at the level right for them. Dyatmika is proud to provide an education that offers the many benefits of bilingualism. We aim for our students to develop into responsible citizens who act ethically and provide leadership in their immediate situation and beyond. We want them to understand what it means to manage the environment sensibly and to accept their responsibility for the preservation of the natural world. The Founders of the school captured these ideas in Dyatmika’s Charter. The school remains true to these principles today. The heart of any school begins and ends with the people who enter it every day, from our talented and dedicated teaching, administrative and site staff, to our students and their families. Our strong and vibrant school community makes Dyatmika a warm and dynamic school. If you are not already a member of the Dyatmika family. Greetings and welcome to the Early Years Programme at Dyatmika. The Dyatmika Early Years is a safe, vibrant community spanning Playgroup to Kindergarten 2 (TK B). We understand that early childhood is a vital time in children’s learning and development. Our Early Years team views the opportunity to maximize the learning potential of all children as a privilege. We focus on nurturing a love of learning that will continue for the rest of their lives. Our dynamic Early Years Programme provides each child with strong foundations to develop fundamental skills to become confident, creative individuals and successful learners. Our teachers work together to plan purposeful activities for the children. We understand that all students are individual and we plan their learning according to their needs. We have a beautiful outdoor space where learning can take place outside the classroom. Children are given a range of opportunities to explore and learn from the vast natural environment of Bali at our doorstep. Dyatmika offers a unique blend of local and international education in its Primary School. Our students follow the highly regarded international Cambridge curriculum which prepares them for any future they may wish to follow. We also meet the requirements of the Indonesian National curriculum that provides a strong understanding of and connection to Indonesia’s history and culture. Dyatmika is unique in Bali in offering a bilingual education to all Primary School students, from TK A through to Class 6. Each class is taught by one international teacher in English and one National teacher in Indonesian. Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies are taught in both languages. Our teaching teams work closely together to create a stimulating learning environment. We pride ourselves on our sense of community. The wellbeing of every student is ensured and students can receive the individual attention required to flourish both academically and personally. Welcome to the High School at Dyatmika. We are committed to academic excellence, social and cultural integration, and continuous improvement in learning. Through the Cambridge program, we build our students’ broad knowledge and intellectual capacity in preparation for higher education at top-level institutions around the world. Our highly qualified and experienced team of international and national staff ensures support for all students learning. We build a strong achievement culture through active and engaging classes led by specialist teachers. Students are taught in English in High School. However, to ensure our commitment to bilingual education, every student continues to study Indonesian in specialist lessons. To serve the students of our community, the High School also offers the National curriculum and exams. In Classes 6 to 9, the National Curriculum can be studied concurrently with the Cambridge curriculum. Students study the Cambridge curriculum in Class 9 and 10 (IGCSE) and can then choose to study the National curriculum alongside the AS and A Level curriculum in Classes 11 and 12, achieving a double award on graduation.
