Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) is a public university located in Manisa, a beautiful historical city in Turkey's Aegean region. The university offers over 60-degree programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. More than 2781 people are involved in running our organization (among them administrative staff: 1160, academic staff: 1614, foreigners working on the agreement: 7). The university's aim with its 55 thousand students (among them 652 are international students from 48 countries - 2016) is to support student exchange programs and thus be able to provide the opportunity to have two diplomas. Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) benefits the multicultural heritage of Manisa's city, the history of which dates back to 1450-1200s BC. MCBU is among the leading universities in the Aegean Region in terms of the number of students. Our institution is striving to meet the highest standards in all areas of education and research, taking into account the increasing globalization and the educational expectations of modern society. Taking internationalization for our natural mission, we provide a wide range of international Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, subject-related foreign language courses, and elective subjects dealing with international and intercultural topics. Furthermore, the Manisa Celal Bayar University supports world educational programs, promotes mobility, non-formal learning, and intercultural dialogue. The university is involved in the Bologna process and develops the European format of higher education. With its academic departments, lecturers, physical capacity, and cultural and sports opportunities, Manisa Celal Bayar University is an academic institution of high quality. There are 14 faculties, three colleges, 15 vocational schools, three graduate schools, 28 research and application centers, and a hospital. Manisa Celal Bayar University also has a positive effect on Manisa and its districts with its campuses in Uncubozköy, Muradiye, Demirci and with its vocational schools in nearly all of its towns.
