  10. MNS is a fully inclusive school. This means that we do not only accept students who score at the top of our entrance test. Our tests can determine if there is a barrier to full learning that may be keeping a student from achieving to the best of their ability. Some children are not achieving as they could because of a variety of reasons. At MNS, we can assess things like dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, and autism, to name a few potential barriers to independent learning. These are then referred to best prepare a program for these children to succeed and eventually enter their IGCSE exams. Inclusion means that these children are included in the general class activities and classes. We are a multinational school, and our student body represents over 50 nationalities – some of whom do not have English as a home language. Yet, our language of instruction and assessment is in English. This department identifies the need for additional English language support at enrollment. Sessions are timetabled. Most often, while the class is busy with English tasks, the students are pulled out into small groups (or individuals if it is felt that the language gap requires this for a time) and engage with a particular English development program. Students are continuously assessed, and the aim is for them to become sufficiently proficient in English as a language of teaching and learning, not to require these classes anymore. Students with particular academic strengths or those with specific maths or language abilities are identified by the teachers and engage in a cross-class program that helps challenge and extend these students. We expand our search and offerings into the arts too. MNS is a special place for all who are a part of it. One only has to visit us to recognize that it is a happy place. We focus on producing a comfortable and safe environment where learning can occur, and through this, we continuously achieve fantastic results. Over the years, Bahrain Bayan School continued working on providing highly exceptional education to its grades. Bahrain School

Bahrain School is the only DoDEA school in the Persian Gulf area. The closest DoDEA school to Bahrain School is George C. Marshall School in Ankara, Turkey. It provides education primarily to the children of the United States Navy stationed in Bahrain, but historically, about half of the student body has been local enrollment, usually the dependents of diplomatic personnel and ARAMCO employees, as well as Bahrain citizens. The Navy-dependent population declined in July 2004 when dependents were sent home due to security concerns. In July 2009, dependents were again authorized to return to Bahrain. As of 2013, there were 435 total students enrolled in both the middle and high schools, with 69% of the students in grades 10 to 12. 57% of the students at the time were American citizens, with the remaining 43% representing approximately 68 countries.
  19. The BSB provides an excellent educational program for children who fall within the mainstream spectrum. Within this spectrum, we recognize that every child has a particular learning profile and range of talents and abilities. We endeavor to meet a wide range of individual learning needs in delivering our curriculum through a variety of differentiation strategies. We require an adequate English proficiency level for admission to the BSB, and we do not currently provide any programs to teach students for whom English is an additional language at an early stage of acquiring English. We intend to develop our facilities and capacity to support students with special learning needs in the future but, at our present stage of development, we have only limited resources to cater to students whose learning needs require significant support and, for this reason, we not admit students with specific learning needs that fall outside the mainstream spectrum. It is not in the best interests of anyone, and least of all of the students involved, if they cannot benefit from the educational program we offer and thrive within the academically high achieving environment at the BSB. BSB curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, which we adapt to our local setting from time to time. There is a rigorous focus on children learning to communicate, read, write, and understand mathematical concepts in the infant years. Learning is enhanced with engaging topic work and “themed” days, which are held regularly. An outstanding school where students come first. We achieve excellence Through doing as well as knowing. Through continually challenging ourselves to do better. Through our determination to succeed. Through our perseverance in the face of challenge and our enjoyment of learning. The juniors curriculum is based on Key Stage 2 of the UK National Curriculum, adapted to an international educational environment. We recognize our host country, and we incorporate the history, culture, and geography of the Kingdom of Bahrain into our program. All children from Reception to Year 6 are taught Arabic. Arab nationals have Arabic lessons as directed by the Ministry of Education. We value and promote a lifelong love of learning; our students are highly motivated and eager to make progress. Children are encouraged to be proactive with their learning both in class and at home, while technology is used to enhance understanding and creativity whenever possible. Links are frequently created between subjects, leading to a vibrant and lively learning experience for every child. Educational visits and trips form an essential part of the all-around student experience at the BSB, as do our themed study days such as Ancient Greek day and Shakespeare day.

To live a meaningful life, one must possess commitment. He/she must have something or someone to which he/she can commit his/her life. Compassion means sharing the same feelings with other people. 25. Philippine School (Bahrain) is a non-profit community school committed to providing excellent primary education to children of Filipino Overseas Workers (OFW). Our school offers education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as prescribed by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines and approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Bahrain. We are very proud of our students who appreciate and cherish the rich Filipino cultural heritage. Our faculty hails from different regions of the Philippines. They come with one Filipino sentiment but with different cultural backgrounds, providing a rich and supportive learning environment. The faculty is supported by a dedicated team of administrative and support staff committed to creating a conducive learning environment. PSB opened its doors to Filipino students in 1995. Since then, PSB has graduated many young men and women who take pride in the school and their country - the Philippines, the pearl of the orient seas. The school's policy-making body is the Board of Governors composed of Filipino professionals who formulate policies that steer the school to the path of success. Despite their busy work schedules in their respective realms of professions, they continue to voluntarily provide their expertise, time, and efforts to ensure that the school moves in the right forward direction. Through the Philippine Ambassadors' unwavering assistance to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Philippine School Bahrain steadily grows into a strong citadel of Philippine education in this part of the Middle East. As a commitment to excellent education, PSB endeavors to attain full accreditation from PAASCU, the Philippines' oldest and largest independent and internationally affiliated quality assurance body in education, accrediting the excellent schools in the Philippines. We always take pride in our school and in the achievements that were accomplished over the years. Each year, we continue to energize ourselves to enhance our curricula, educational pedagogy, facilities, and services to develop our students' proper development. This is not only our promise but a responsibility we place upon our shoulders. We are blessed to have parents and benefactors who support the school in all its endeavors. We maintain strong communication with them to help us to reflect and move forward with sure steps. With them, we make things happen. At Philippine School (Bahrain), we believe in the following: Excellence is achieved through wisdom. Education plays a significant role in man's formation to achieve a quality life and a humane society. Education is a dynamic process by which one seeks and enjoys the fullness of life with his/her fellowmen. Education develops one's talents to become a mature, responsible, and influential member of society. Education is a partnership between the home and the school. PSB education aims for the development of individuals. It seeks to nurture learners' potentials with the end goal of helping develop abilities and attitudes necessary for nation-building and global citizenship while appreciating their cultural heritage. Our core values: Competence is the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to effectively and efficiently carry out one's responsibilities in his/her chosen field of endeavor. Creativity is the capability to do or construct new things, not merely repeating what others have done. It also means improving the existing item or procedure. It is through/her community, country, and humanity because education aims to develop inventors and discoverers. Commitment means dedicating one's life to something or someone worth living for. To live a meaningful life, one must possess commitment. He/she must have something or someone to which he/she can commit his/her life. Compassion means sharing the same feelings with other people. It is putting oneself in the shoes of his fellowmen. It is not a selfish attitude but an outreach endeavor. Compassion enables one to be at home with other people. View full school
