Ysgol Ardudwy is a happy, caring, and friendly school. We have high expectations of all our pupils in all aspects of school life. Our aim is that every pupil of all abilities fulfill their highest possible academic potential, but also develop fully as individuals through the varied opportunities and activities the school provides.
The School is pleased that the pupils have done well in the examinations this year, despite the problems the school faced following severe storm damage to the school roofs in March. The pupils and staff had to contend with a disruption to the education at a crucial time just before the examinations and being educated at other centers outside the school, together with additional lessons after school in an attempt to recover the learning time lost during the disruption. Congratulations to the pupils on their results. The dedication of both the pupils and staff has been reflected in the positive results received.
Following the substantial storm damage in early March, the school is pleased that everyone will be able to return to the site at the beginning of the Autumn Term and that all the teaching rooms will be available. The repairs will not be fully completed until the end of October but the remaining work will not interfere with the running of the school during this period. The Headteacher would like to thank everyone - staff, pupils, and parents - for their patience and co-operation during this difficult and challenging period. It is pleasing to see that normality is returning!
