Founded in 1879, St Lawrence College provides a first-class education for boys and girls from 3 to 18 years. Located in Ramsgate within easy walking distance of the sea, the private school is set in a safe, spacious campus housing day and boarding pupils from local, UK, and international families.
We currently have approximately 650 pupils – 200 in the Junior School and 450 in the Senior School, of which 210 are boarders (boarding from 7 years of age).
We ensure pupils attain their personal best academically, whilst preparing them for life in a rapidly changing global society. Modern facilities combined with traditional values based on our Christian roots draw out the talents of each pupil.

Located in Ramsgate, within easy walking distance of the sea and town, the school is set in a safe, spacious campus of 45 acres.
Cutting-edge facilities and state-of-the-art architecture exist happily alongside the more traditional and very fine late nineteenth-century buildings, reminding staff and pupils alike of the long and well-earned reputation of the College, which successfully blends traditional values with the twenty-first-century enterprise.
We provide a home from home for our boarding students, both in terms of comfort and atmosphere. Children thrive in a safe, supportive and calm environment. We are proud to say that most visiting families comment that our boarding facilities are the finest they have ever seen! In recent years, a massive program of investment has created some truly remarkable facilities for our borders, and all rooms are en-suite.
