Scoil Eoin is a Catholic school where all children are welcome. We aim to provide the best possible education for each pupil so that their talents may be developed and their needs best met.
The well-being of our children is of the highest importance as we know that children who are happy and secure in their learning environment are children who are more likely to achieve their potential.
Scoil Eoin is proud to call itself a green school. We have been awarded three green school flags to date for waste, energy, and water conservation. As well as maintaining our current flags, this year we are working towards achieving the travel flag. There are seven steps we must complete to earn the flag.
We will collect data about how children travel to school eg. By car, bus, train. We will conduct a walkability and cyclability audit to determine the safest and best routes to school.
GAA has a long and proud history of involvement with Cumann na mBunscoil and the Fingal Leagues. Currently, three teams are representing the school, senior and junior boys and a senior girls team. All children are welcome to play and we look forward to the upcoming season which begins after Christmas. We have been very lucky in recent years that the school has been very successful in the final leagues.
Over the last three years, pupils from various classes in Scoil Eoin have participated in Tennis4Kids. Tennis4Kids is a mini tennis program that gives children the opportunity to learn and play tennis in a fun and easy way. It promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, builds confidence and team building as well as developing a love of the sport.
Students have been working hard each week getting their homework done. They have been very focused on working on their writing, maths, and reading to name a few. They get help from the teacher when they need it and also work together to help one another out. There is always a lovely, calm atmosphere in the club and they get to go home with their homework already complete!
