The world has become smaller since APG School was established. Technology now has made it even more micro, enabling new playing fields for our global learners. We, the APG School community, with our dear parents' active involvement, make sure that our learners are equipped with the 21st-century skills set to succeed in the globalized world.
Our international programs, such as the IGCSE and IB, prepare our learners to be highly knowledgeable, inquiring, caring, and active members of the global community. They are molded to become respectful of each other, of the environment, and the rest of humanity.
We are proud of our alumni and alumnae, who have hurdled the IGCSE and IB assessments' rigor and given us excellent statistics of the results. We are proud of them who are now students of prestigious universities here and abroad. We are proud to even more of those who are recipients of highly competitive scholarships.
Our commitment to APG School is to continue providing high standards of educational services. We aim at providing a very motivating positive, and inclusive learning environment set within the parameters of sound values and a discipline. An environment that will empower students to become knowledgeable, creative, caring, thinkers, and excellent communicators. We also aim at preparing APG students to succeed in high school, college, and life. Ultimately obtain a decent career in the future, meet the competitive labor market requirements, and become good citizens.

APG is a private school situated at Capital Governorate – Khamis, Kingdom of Bahrain. It was founded in June 1996 by Mr. Mohammed Moosa Al A'ali. It was strictly planned to start the school with a population of 120 students during the first year of its operation, of which the school initially accommodated three levels: two levels of Preschool and Grade One. APG is named as Arabian Pearl Gulf to carry the national reflection attached to Bahrain's country as Pearl of the Gulf.
A developmentally appropriate curriculum is one that is age-appropriate, individually appropriate, and socio-culturally appropriate. This Kindergarten framework considers the developmental benchmarks of four to six-year-olds and recommends strategies that address the learners' needs and interests. Kindergarteners are continually developing in the different domains (cognitive, language, physical, creative and aesthetic, socio-emotional, and values and character). Thus beginning at an early age, the child must be cared for and given all the opportunities to address current developmental needs and prepare him/her for lifelong learning. Kindergarten classrooms, therefore, should multi-level because kindergarteners will differ in their development in each domain.
