    Good Shepherd was established to provide high-quality education within a Christian caring environment. The school understands Christian education to be concerned with the complete development of the individual in all aspects of his/her being. At Good Shepherd, we endeavor to provide the encouragement, care, and understanding needed for children to reach their fullest potential, educationally, socially, and physically.

    We believe it is a privilege to serve as Principal of Good Shepherd and be supported by a competent and dedicated staff team. An actively involved parent body works together with the school to develop and promote very positive school culture and ethos. The mission is the Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School provides high-quality Christ-centered education and pastoral care for children and their families. The school works in partnership with families to provide an environment in which children discover and develop their potential and utilize their unique talents to serve others in the world around them.

    The Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School exists to:

    The Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School was established in 1979. It is one of more than 80 primary and secondary schools operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia. The school is owned and operated by the Outer Eastern Lutheran Church.

    The school currently has an enrolment of 530 students and 67 members of staff. Our Principal is Mr. Greg Schneider. Students who attend Good Shepherd receive a high-quality, comprehensive education within a Christian, caring environment. The buildings, grounds, and facilities have been continually developed, resulting in a very functional and attractive learning environment.
