St John's is a place for developing the mind, innovation and creativity, inspiration and well-being, and nurturing the spirit. Preparing leadership responsibilities in tomorrow's local and global communities begins at Little Saints Kindergarten and is progressively undertaken by our caring, committed teachers through to Year 12.

Our teachers care about your child, listening, and acting as fine role models. They are leaders in learning, focused on providing the best possible educational environment and ensuring that each child's academic potential is nurtured. Teachers are innovative and collegial in their approach, and new ways of teaching and learning are explored and encouraged.

St John's is focused on each child's future and welcomes parents' participation in this educational journey. We facilitate community networks with tertiary providers and businesses, which support students in their transition from school to university and the workplace. Your family will be welcomed into our dynamic community, and I encourage you to explore this possibility with us. St John's Anglican College is an inclusive Christian school within the Anglican tradition that values diversity, inclusiveness, and tolerance within its community.

With its Christian framework, the College encourages openness and intellectual challenge in its teaching and learning within a positive environment, promoting and acknowledging individual effort and endeavor. As an Anglican School, St John's actively expresses the Anglican Church's values and traditions, including the dignity and understanding to be found in school worship and an acceptance of social responsibility, social justice, and service to the broader community of which it is a part.

In its long history, the Anglican Church has come to value diversity as a positive good and a distinguishing feature of a civilized community. Anglican schools should enliven such appreciation of diversity and acceptance and the care ethic implicit in others' respect. The teaching/learning ethic will show itself in hard work, intellectual rigor, and openness to ideas and debate.

The Anglican tradition of renewing ancient forms and sacraments to meet modern needs will be evident in how the school community worships. Anglican schools will use the richness of symbols, stories, and ceremonies to promote their values and order their lives.

The service ethic and a commitment to social justice will be seen in Anglican school communities' willingness to offer themselves to serve God and God's people in the broader community as critical participants. St John's motto, "Faith, Service and Courage," underpins the Anglican Ethos in various ways. The crest, which is worn by all students, has a rich story. The colors and shape of the bishop's miter represent our Anglican Ethos. The cross is symbolic of faith in Jesus Christ. The hands symbolize our commitment to social justice and serving God and the community.
