Our Mission statement clearly articulates our unique focus.  Based on our Christian Foundation, we leverage the College's positive energy and supportive community to enable our students to walk confidently into their futures. To achieve this, the College has been fortunate to attract a high caliber of staff who seek each day to provide unique, engaging, and broad educational opportunities for the children in their care.
Being the Principal of St Andrew's Anglican College is a unique and rewarding job: because of our College Community! It is a delight to welcome our students each morning, interact with staff as we share ideas about our College's future, and collaborate with parents to ensure a consistent approach to all we undertake. As Principal, I have the exciting challenge to ensure we stay focussed on our Value statements, the how part of what we do:
At St Andrew's, the best aspects of a traditional Anglican School education are combined with a vision for what students need today and for their exciting futures. All these considerations produce a learning environment that is distinctively St Andrew's, but with the standards of care, Christian values, academic rigor, focus on independent learning, and positive environment exemplified by other leading independent schools across Australia.

We talk a lot about 'the St Andrew's Way. Our education approach is based on high expectations of our staff and students, balanced with a firm commitment to the importance of the relationships between staff, students, and parents. As Principal, it is my role to model this! I work with a committed staff that engenders a love for learning and a love for belonging, of being part of a community. The flow-on effect of this is a student body that openly emanates a willingness to engage in a wide range of opportunities.
Our wish for our departing Collegians is to have a passion for learning and value the virtues of wisdom and integrity. They will be individuals who endeavor to transform the communities in which they live and work positively. In the great and the small things they do, they will enliven and enrich our world.
Our strategic intent is to leverage our positive energy and supportive community to enable our students to move confidently into their futures. To have a vision is to 'see with one's mind' - to envisage an excellent and balanced place ahead. St Andrew's will be a place where its students are inspired and where dreams and visions are honored. It also refers to the apostle Andrew's vision in taking up the call to become a disciple of Jesus - a person of vision. As a Christian school, St Andrew's will reflect a definite Christian ethos and encourage students to seek a Christ-like character.
It reflects the vision that parents have had in choosing this College for their children. Therefore, St Andrew's will value the vision of parents, encouraging them to share their hopes with the vision of our school. Spirit is the expression of energy, liveliness, and positive enthusiasm within an individual, group, or whole school community. St Andrew's will seek to develop the natural creativity and spirit of inquiry inherent in all children.
Spirit differentiates one school from another. Staff, students, and parents will be encouraged to form spirited approaches to new ideas and community involvement. Spirit in a theological sense points to the Holy Spirit who 'moved upon the face of the waters' at the beginning of creation. St Andrew's will be where the Holy Spirit is present to inspire and motivate all who form the community of St Andrews.
