Sr. Product Operations Manager - Digital Solutions

Job Summary

The Product Operations Manager will be responsible for operational rigor and excellence in all the SaaS offering being developed in the Digital Services org in HP. This individual will work closely with various teams, including product management, engineering, architecture, business, and hold the bar high when it comes to overall operations of the organization in development of SaaS products and their use by HP's customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and implementation of product strategies.Help Conduct market research to inform product development and positioning.
• Process Improvement: Streamline product development processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and maintain product management tools and systems.
• Team Collaboration and monitoring: Work closely with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams to track various business, technical and product metrics and ensure goals and OKRs are met.Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
• Data Analysis: - Analyze product performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement. Monitor and report on product usage, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Product Launch and Support: Help coordinate product launches, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Provide ongoing support and enhancements post-launch.
• Communication: Prepare and provide regular updates about program progress, issues, and risks to key stakeholders.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product management or operations in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle. - Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
• Demonstratable mix of business acumen and hands on software development experience.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills. Comfortable presenting to all levels of management and customers.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Passion for delivering customer-centric outcomes.
• Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
