We are looking for a data-driven SEO Strategist to join the Worldwide SEO COE (Center of Excellence) team to support HP.com search engine optimization efforts. The SEO Strategist will work closely with the Group Manager, Team Leads, Project Managers, other Strategists, and Technical Specialists across the team to research and discover scalable growth opportunities that align with standardized UX and SEO best practices across our HP.com web platforms, for owned marketing and ecommerce web pages. In addition, the SEO Strategist will work to prioritize development, optimization, and testing ideas for incremental revenue.

Expected Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue and margin attainment goals as part of long-term growth plan
• Create and maintain running ideas backlog, and guide Project Managers and Technical Specialists toward execution of value-add growth opportunities
• Work cross-functionally to implement global SEO best practices and enforce modern web standards
• Support Project Managers to organize agile Sprint planning and refinement
• Be a creative but flexible thinker with high technical acumen and the ability to garner cross-functional support in pursuit of holistic business solutions with evergreen value
• Required to make data-driven decisions in an often fast-paced, fluctuating business environment
• Take part in solving challenging SEO problems related to direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce

Education and Experience Sought:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin., Communications, Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields
• 7 years minimum SEO experience in large enterprise environment with multiple business stakeholders
• Proven track record of SEO project management resulting in product enhancements to support growth
• Deep understanding of enterprise analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 360 e.g., user behavior and website engagement metrics, dimensions, segments, ecommerce and event tracking
• Advanced expertise and knowledge of online space, including search engine trends and technologies
• Advanced understanding of Google search engine optimization best practices and webmaster policies
• Highly knowledgeable about web languages like DOM, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and able to easily parse HTML elements within web page source code
• Familiarity with enterprise SEO platforms like Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor Searchlight, Searchmetrics, SEMrush, or seoClarity is a must
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Adobe Magento is a must
• Comfortable using productivity and collaboration applications to manage projects and tasks like Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Trello, Confluence, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet
