Indigo Engineering Manager

Description -

What an Engineering Manager (Ink Manufacturing) does in HP:

  • Lead and manage the process, product and NPI engineering teams, looking after process and capacity improvement, quality assurance, revenue support, availability protection and business continuity.
  • Partner closely with GBU R&D, NPI, Engineering, and other teams within and among organizations on customer's needs
  • Focus on engineering breakthrough and meet availability, highest quality, and lowest total cost of ownership.
  • Engage in long term engineering capabilities discussion and execution. This includes establishing engineering charters, roadmaps and value creation.
  • Lead the Engineering team, establish engineering budgets and manage spend within approved budget and flash.
  • Manage and successfully transfer New Product Ink Manufacturing to Singapore, including technology/knowledge transfer, plant layout and design, site built-up, equipment procurement and installation, validation, qualification, testing, regulatory approvals, Manufacturing Release, and smooth ramp up.
  • Meet and exceed quality expectations for ink product, by establishing process engineering excellence to ensure tight process control, highest yield, and lowest scrap.
  • Drive product engineering excellence, change control and management, specifications control, knowledge on press quality testing and analysis, monitoring and analyzing customer data, metrology changes and configuration control.
  • Engage in appropriate long-term engineering capability discussions and execution. This includes establishing engineering roadmaps on cost-reduction,

Are you a high performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Minimally a degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in ink manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong competency in managing the financial aspect of the business and projects.
