Intern process optimization engineer for customer support
Description -
Four-year university students who are working in a technical internship role at hp during their study or in summer breaks between university semesters.
Responsible for participating in multi-disciplinary process improvement initiatives. Develops, documents, and supports process improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes related to the initiatives of "Support Efficiency" for the PC business.
Responsibilities:
- Supports Support Efficiency initiatives that involve one or more functions and project teams to drive process improvement for products or service offerings.
- Collects, consolidates, and charts data from testing and process results for assigned portions of product and solution areas to identify trends and issues; learns and practices basic root-cause analysis.
- Generates documentation in accordance with provided plan and detailed specifications, including budgets, resource allocation plans, and other support requirements.
- Supports project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating documentation.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Degree 4th Year of University completed--typically a technical degree specialization.
