Digital Employee Experience Lead-Maternity Leave Replacement

Description -

As an industry leader in end-user computing HP is constantly raising the bar on employee experience. With the increase in Hybrid work HP is accelerating innovation by co-developing enterprise solutions with our internal stakeholders. A process we call HP on HP. As part of this team, the HP on HP (Digital Employee Experience) Product Manager is a catalyst for developing the next generation of products and services in coordination with multiple business units. 

 

In this role, you will own the co-development of new services and products utilizing lean methodology. You will be responsible for working in an interactive approach across multiple product teams and business units to build products and services that improve employee productivity and experience while at the same time reduce friction in the company operations. You will be a thought leader who can help with solution deployments, interpret employee and IT requirements into technical requirements, and can present and communicate benefits to all levels of the organization. As a thought leader and expert in measuring and managing digital employee experience, you will also be sought after to present at customer meetings, and to help train sales and support teams as solutions are embedded into go to market offers. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Measures and monitors employee sentiment to determine needs for specific experience improvements. 

  • Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities. 

  • Recommends solution requirements and definitions to align with employees' needs. 

  • Collaborates with the engineering teams on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life. 

  • Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle. 

  • Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of the product management function in utilizing eNPS and other feedback to improve products. 

  • Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments. 

 

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Experience measuring and utilizing employee and customer experience metrics and tools to quantify and identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Expert knowledge using customer satisfaction systems such as Qualtrix or Medalia including setting up surveys and evaluating feedback. 

  • Track record of work with UX methods and tools in a product development lifecycle. 

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Product development leadership experience, including demonstrated examples of management through influence and collaboration in a complex, multi-cultural global environment, building a culture of accountability. 

  • Strong leadership and organization skills. 

  • Outstanding innovation skills. 

  • Expert level ideation and design thinking skills. 

  • Strong analytical skills - experience with using ML/AI tools to drive better business outcomes is a plus 

  • Experience driving large scale change initiatives with cross-functional teams is an advantage 

 

Scope & Impact 

  • Partners with sales, customer success, human resources and support teams to define business requirements, product design, deployment, and internal adoption plans. 

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and advises various internal, partner, and customer teams on the needs and requirements of target audiences. 

  • Provides guidance for junior team members. 

  • Oversees the overall quality of work of the product management team. 

  • Decisions with regard to products may have organizational impacts of up to a year. 

 

Complexity 

  • High: Extensive cross-functional/cross-organizational senior management interface; deals with complex strategic issues. 

  • Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. 

  • Requires a balance between internal and external focus, understanding change drivers that are impacting the organization and industry as a whole both short and long term. 

 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. 10+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Technical/Business degree with MBA is a plus. 

  • Extensive experience building solutions at an enterprise level. 

  • Extensive technical and software product management experience would be an advantage. 

This role is used for a maternity leave replacement, the contract will be issued for one year.
