Description -

Sales Operations organization's goal is to drive operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and execute with increased speed and precision.

As part of Sales Operations organization, the Custom Opportunity Consultant belongs to the Global Pricing Centre of Excellence supporting our Managed Print Services business and partnering with Global Services & Solutions to lead the pursuit of our contractual Managed Print Services opportunities and drive profitable business for HP. Global Services & Solutions is the driving force behind our services business and, with unique capabilities across Personal Systems & Print to achieve double digit growth in a highly competitive environment and is a strategic growth area for HP with very ambitious growth objectives. 

We are looking for a Custom Opportunity Consultant to support new opportunities in NorthWestern Europe market. In this role, you will develop pricing strategies by leveraging your analytical skills and financial modeling expertise. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to customize a competitive pricing structure that will feasibly meet customer requirements.

MPS projects span the globe and require the Custom Opportunity Consultant to keep the big picture in focus. You will collaborate with other team members on complex, multi-disciplinary projects to propose and develop solutions to solve challenging problems and scale up our agreement pricing practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the pursuit team and account team to understand the scope of the global engagement and contract in order to provide the requisite analysis information and recommendations.
  • Analyse internal win/loss baseline and support price to win exercise.
  • Analyse customer data & develop financial modelling of pricing scenarios.
  • Propose financial solutions to solve challenging problems for our customers.
  • Validate financial risks in complex environment and coordinate all pricing activities during the bid proposal submission.
  • Share knowledge and documentation (transfer, communication with counterparts).
  • Consult and provide required documentation for the bid proposal submission.
  • Establish positive working relationships with the pursuit team to get the best understanding of the existing cost structure possible.
  • Establish open lines of communication between regional and if required, worldwide groups.
  • Once the deal is signed, work closely with the transition team to ensure the right data is in place and implemented.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 5 years of experience in Finance or Business Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience with pricing and/or Service business environment
  • Business and customer-oriented team player with ability to form alliances across boundaries.
  • Data Scientist or Big Data expertise preferred (ability to develop best practices for structuring customer pricing data)
  • Strong influencing and communication skills. Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to cope with high peak workloads, deadlines, and significant pressure.
  • Strong Analytical and Financial knowledge

  • Good Interpersonal skills and clear communication ability.
  • Highly developed software capability (PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI).
