Solution Architect (Remote)

Description -

Do you like helping customers and partners solve tough technical problems? Do you enjoy bringing new solutions to market and working with the latest cloud technologies? Do you have a good working knowledge of virtualization and overall system architecture?

As an integral part of the HP Anyware Strategic Alliances & Business Development organization, in your role as a Technical Alliance Architect, you will work with a collaborative team to strengthen our strategic partnerships. You will be at the forefront of creating and promoting innovative joint solutions with our Strategic Alliances. You will work closely with ISVs, public cloud partners and other critical ecosystem partners to help deliver workstations in the cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize HP’s Anyware Software technology to our Strategic Partner’s sellers worldwide.
  • Together with our Strategic Partners, jointly promote the positioning and value proposition of our joint solution to the broader market.
  • Deliver solution enablement training to our strategic alliance’s and HP Anyware field organizations.
  • Create joint partner sales enablement tools including demos, videos, reference architectures, technical presentations, technology briefs, and deployment guides.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support for sell-in opportunities with our Strategic Alliance partners by participating in the discovery, qualification, and POC implementation stages.
  • Drive partner related technical marketing activity including performance testing, ISV software characterization, and development of joint solution collateral.
  • Be responsible for continuously improving our CSP consumption models including leveraging our partner’s marketplace offerings.
  • Work closely with public cloud vendors and other strategic ISV partners to identify, facilitate and drive integrated solutions into market.
  • Work closely with Teradici Product Development and Product Management to define product specifications and reference architectures for the development and implementation of joint partner solutions.
  • Participate and support our presence at industry trade shows, organize and support education/awareness events for our partner sales teams, coordinate and execute partner related webinars.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree required: Computer Science, Math, Computer Systems Technology or Systems Analysis highly desired
  • Strong communication, written and presentation skills required – an ability to evangelize with passion is a must
  • Hands on experience with VMware View Horizon and AWS cloud environments, including in-depth experience with both graphics (Nvidia and AMD) and non-graphics based server and desktop virtualization (Nvidia and AMD)
  • An understanding of CSP’s consumption models including their marketplace offerings (GCP, Azure and AWS)
  • Past experience interfacing with Media and Entertainment/Broadcast, AEC/Mfg and FED enterprise customers a plus
  • Familiarity with ISV applications servicing the Media and Entertainment, Manufacturing and FED market segments is desired
  • Knowledge designing, implementing and administering IT infrastructure, hands on knowledge with IP networking, firewalls, VPN and NAT
  • 4+ years of customer facing roles and a proven record of effective interactions with partners and customers
  • Ability to work closely with Product Development and Product Management to articulate partner and end customer needs
  • Availability and willingness to travel (up to 25%) to partners sites as required
  • Understanding of API/SDK usage with experience in Scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Cloud CLI

 Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $158,000.00 -- $212,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
