Reporting directly to Director, Quality Assurance, the incumbent will be responsible for the below:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quality Synergy project (documentation simplification / changes, build of tracking tools / data reconciliation, etc)
• Addressing current data backlogs (article listing clean-up for NHPs, returns, QTAs, etc) in preparation for anticipated Health Canada inspection(s)

Skills and Experience:

This position requires a strong level of initiative and judgment in order to organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects. A strong ability to influence while maintaining courtesy, tact and diplomacy is required in dealing with colleagues in every day working relationships.

• In-process University or College degree
• Desire to learn and apply Health Canada regulations and guidance documents applicable to drugs, natural health products and medical devices

• Requires specialized interpersonal skills to resolve situations with colleagues where there may be some level of conflict, stress or uncertainty.

• Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.  Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
• Computer skills to produce effective reports, documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Communicates with clarity, verbally and in one on one or group situations, or over the telephone.
• Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents; facility with editing and/or proof-reading is required.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
