This role is to support our Corporate Brands Quo Beauty Team with product development and ensuring on-strategy and timely delivery of new products and updates to existing products.  The Assistant Product Developer (APD) will support product plan execution, the artwork process and completing product and marketing briefs while also supporting broader department initiatives as required. 

Job Description

We are hiring an Assistant Product Developer (APD) - Summer Student.

Duties include the following:

• Support the Corporate Brands Quo Beauty team with project work relating to products & packaging requirements
• Monitor the development and execution process with Product Managers and Product Development Manager to ensure on-time and on-strategy delivery of new products and updates to existing products
• Support listing process for approved projects, obtain UPC’s and provide to vendors
• Support product development meetings with vendor partners to develop products and meet critical path milestones
• Monitor critical path for all active projects and report on project status
• Assist and co-chair weekly team meetings with the team (PM/PD) to review the status of projects and help develop solutions to barriers/project delays
• Support and assist with collecting and confirming e-commerce assets, content templates and other required documents for upload in a timely manner
• Act as a liaison between the PM/PD and design; facilitate the approval of product copy and design artwork
• Support the product development legal review, trademark search and approval process
• Assist the PD in researching and preparing for strategy sessions leveraging trend tools
• Support the PD with maintaining factory social audit status to ensure compliance
• Assist with master label copy creation/circulation and artwork circulation to team and vendor
• Assist with completing required forms, product development briefs and vendor profile forms to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate
• Provides support to Customer Care team to resolve issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.

Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 2 days a week, while spending the other 3 days in the office.
