The Pharmacy Services team at our Central office drives the strategy and service planning for our store pharmacies, to ensure our patients get the best and most innovative services to help them with their healthcare needs.

We help ensure Shoppers remains a leader in retail pharmacy, innovating new product and service offerings on a national and provincial stage, setting strategy, taking smart risks and responsibility for our recommendations, and getting things done.

We are hiring a Programs Specialist (Co-Op Student), Pharmacy Services.

The student will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Services team to enable pharmacists in providing best-in-practice primary care services to their patients.

What you will do:

· Develop and update national professional practice tools and resources to support Pharmacy Teams in delivering quality primary care services

· Support planning, launch, communication, analysis and assessment of key Pharmacy Primary Care campaigns, programs, and initiatives (e.g. Prescribing, Naloxone, Smoking Cessation)

· Review and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to arrive at insights and to assess business impact of ongoing and new Primary Care Services related projects

· Prepare reports and presentations as needed

· Contribute to other projects as needed

What you will need

· Currently pursuing Pharmacy degree or interest in pursuing a Pharmacy degree

· Excellent organizational skills

· Strong analytics and problem-solving ability

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to support multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

· Team player skills

· Must be able to complete work with minimum supervision

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint

· Experience in community or ambulatory pharmacy setting is an asset
