Category Coordinator - Summer Student

This role is to support our Health & Beauty Category Teams with project work and analysis required in support of products & brands. The Category Coordinator Summer Student will work closely with our Health & Beauty, Mass Beauty and Corporate Brand Beauty teams to help support product listings, project management, and analysis work in support of our Health & Beauty Care business.

Duties would include the following:

• Support the Corporate Brands Beauty team with project work relating to our products & packaging requirements
• Work with our Mass Beauty team in support of planogram readiness, Merchandising programs, and communication plans for our stores
• Support our Health & Beauty Care team with product listings, Vendor onboarding, and project management work in support of category opportunities
• Analyze market data, sales and trend reports within our Health & Beauty Care business
• Assist with onboarding brands and products within our Shoppers Drug Mart owned programs
• Support our Category teams in meetings with vendors and internal teams by capturing and circulating meeting minutes and action items
• Complete required forms including product information form and vendor profile form to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate
• Provide support to Marketing Call Centre to resolve issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
• Support ad hoc category project support as required
• Collaborate with relevant departments including, Planogram, Logistics, Inventory and Promotions on projects and to resolve issues or concerns in an efficient and timely manner
• Gather and compile data/information from multiple vendors to prepare worksheets for submission for strategic programs and sourcing projects
