Job Description:

Director, FP&A

Parsons is seeking a Director of FP&A.  The successful candidate will direct, prepare and coordinate corporate finance deliverables with the operations finance team to support planning, forecasting, data analytics and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Participate and support the quarterly forecasts and annual planning processes with business unit finance teams across the enterprise.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly business reports to provide key financial information for senior management (CEO, CFO, Sr. Finance leads).

  • Provide support during the monthly/quarterly accounting close process and assist with required schedule preparations, reconciliations, and analysis and communication of performance.

  • Analysis and variance reporting of monthly/quarterly financial statements.

  • Support the development and maintenance of the existing MS BI system to model and report actuals, forecasts, and plan comparisons.

  • Prepare and communicate cash collections vs. plan and forecast and assist in evaluating NAV balances from the business units.

  • Participate in evaluations to implement a corporate consolidation system, enterprise level planning system and a data warehouse reporting solution.

  • Prepare various comparative analysis and reporting in support of the quarterly earnings calls.

  • Provide support to the Corporate Development department including participating and supporting due diligence and integration efforts.

  • Perform various financial modeling activities for short- and long-term needs including goodwill impairment assessment.

  • Provide ad hoc support including analyzing indirect expenditures, CAPEX, IRAD and B&P costs as directed.

  • Support activities for initiatives include new investments and cost reduction actions.

What Skills You’ll Bring

  • BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related discipline. 

  • Five to eight years of experience; professional services industry preferred

  • Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools (Costpoint, SAP, BI, etc.)

  • Advance MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience.

  • Strong analytical modeling and reporting skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Superior communications skills and ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Familiarity with Government contracting concepts including FAR and CAS preferred.

Salary Range: 

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
