What this opportunity involves:

The Senior Facilities Manager will manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client.  The role will have responsibility and assist with site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.

An Overview of the role:  

  • Provide support and guidance to facilities teams
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to align the long-term, strategic portfolio strategy with organizational objectives 
  • Maintain regular liaison with key staff and senior management in the relevant corporate office 
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure contractual compliance 
  • Conduct contractor procurement in line with established procurement policies 
  • Ensure accurate capture of all client assets within the portfolio 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the property portfolio, including scheduled and ad-hoc works 
  • Process invoices for maintenance works and review and approve costings 
  • Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments associated with the contract 
  • Conduct site inspections and review operations to maximize cost effectiveness 
  • Ensure continuity of building services with minimum disruption to client business operations 
  • Ensure contractors' costs and workmanship meet client needs and industry standards 
  • Oversee minor building upgrades
  • Coordinating the movement of staff around buildings

  • Proactive with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Possess a can-do attitude with proven ability to build and maintain relationships 
  • A strategic thinker who can effectively handle ambiguity and solve complex problems 
  • Proven experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related fields 
  • Familiarity with critical environments 
  • Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements 
  • Understanding of critical facilities 
  • Experience in vendor management for specialized services 
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of property, such as Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller systems, Fire Protection systems, Mechanical & Electrical systems, and BMS systems 
  • Proficient in understanding and interpreting commercial contracts
