What this job involves

As EHS role to achieve the timely and efficient delivery of Facility Management services to Client's staffs in Client’s Sites and support of their business needs in accordance with the Service Levels, regulatory requirement, client standard and Key Performance Indicators set out below –

Environmental

  • Assist local environmental manager to implement ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) in major offices, which includes
    • Develop and implement EMS implementation plan, including annual program and schedule, events, improvement initiatives to meet global environmental targets
    • Organize environmental programs and execute required projects. Coordinate with other departments and external parties to drive awareness among the firm
    • Track trends in environmental indicators to identify areas for improvement monthly, ensuring sufficient progress towards global environmental targets
    • Identify potential improvements in operational processes/equipment to achieve environmental targets
    • Assist with operational services and engineering teams to identify resource efficiency opportunities and implementation
    • Assist in setting up local Green Ambassadors team, following up and reporting progress to local management and regional environmental management
    • Lead environmental trainings for ISO14001 within local teams and lead monthly meetings
    • Assist team members to implement the ISO14001 environmental management standard in all offices
    • Maintain EMS documentation system
    • Report EMS implementation progress to management and regional team
    • Collect and submit EMS data in timely fashion, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data
    • Coordinate with local environmental service providers and certification bodies
    • Work with communication team to develop communication materials
    • Assist regional environmental management team to execute global strategy for compliance
    • Work as a team with other regional In-House Environmental Management assistants to drive regional initiatives, and development of regional environmental program
    • Assist in renewable energy procurement, ensuring fulfilment of global standards 
    • Assist to monitor local renewable energy portfolio and associated contracts
    • Coordinate with suppliers on environmental initiatives for local operations

Risk Management

  • Lead EMS risk management to identify and close out environmental risks in our operations
  • Manage central risk register to ensure timely closure of audit findings locally
  • Assist in audits and follow up the findings and observations with team
  • Assist regional environmental management team in audit sequence and enquiries in a timely fashion
  • Lead audit arrangement and drive implementation of improvements from audit findings

EHS

  • EHS management, to follow client and JLL EHS requirements, promote the development of related work
  • Ensure compliance to local environmental requirements, rectification of deficiencies in the system
  • Monitor EHS performance and people behaviors, conduct daily inspection with reports
  • Epidemic prevention and control work, the implementation of government policies, with property and JLL team, to coordinate outbreak related works of client

Contract Management

  • Review the EMS contract draft to ensure its completeness and accuracy, and initiate sign-off process according to established protocols
  • Support contract management and strategy with team to ensure uninterruptable services, also lead contract renewal, extension, consolidation, termination, etc.

Admin

  • Monthly procurement status update summary and procurement issues sum-up and analysis
  • Monthly billing review before invoicing to client

Others upon request of facilities management

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

  • University Degree EHS related majority
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Experience in assisting management with creation of Power Point Preparation
  • Behavioural competencies: Patient, high resilience, customer orientated, detail
