Job Description

Amazon.com.tr launched in September 2018 and has since established itself as one of the fastest growing expansion geographies worldwide, shipping more than 40MM units in 2023 out of 5 FCs, and projected to grow at > 30% in the coming years. Turkey Supply Chain powers this growth by ensuring we keep delighting our Turkish customers by fulfilling products from Amazon and our Selling Partners at the fastest possible speed, on-time and at the lowest possible cost.

Key job responsibilities
A part of the European Supply Chain organization, the Turkey (TR) Supply Chain team is responsible for planning and executing the inventory flows out of our TR Fulfilment Network. Its responsibilities include:
- Forecasting inbound (Retail and FBA) as well as outbound (customer demand) volumes, at the FC, weekly and daily grain
- Planning the appropriate allocation of volume to each FCs to achieve the lowest cost to serve, while ensuring the best possible outcome (speed, delivery estimate accuracy) for our Turkish customers
- Executing the plan at the daily level, taking the required mitigation action in case of disruption (either capacity or demand driven)
- Defining the rules that govern the placement of inventory at the ASIN level between our 5 TR FCs, to achieve Amazon customer experience (CX) and cost objectives
- Planning, and precisely executing deals events (e.g., Black Friday, Back to City) – leading cross-functional teams via daily calls mechanism to guarantee the best possible customer experience
The TR Supply Chain team works closely with Retail, FBA, Transportation, and FC Operations stakeholder – is accountable for the cost and CX outcomes it drives, while holding its stakeholders accountable for the inputs they own.

A day in the life
You lead a team of 3-4 analysts, each of them owning a separate piece of the network (S&OP, execution, placement). You own metrics such as volume plan accuracy and placement metrics, and co-own customer experience (1D glance view speed, DEA) and cost metrics with transportation and FC Operations teams.
