Your Role and Responsibilities
As a community manager in channel operations, you will be using tools such as Airtable (editorial calendar planning), Khoros (metrics/performance) and Talkwalker (social listening).

Responsibilities in service of the Hybrid Cloud, Cloud & Security, Campaigns & PLG growth on social media will include:
- Community Building, Engagement & Monitoring (Social CX)
- Post copy creation & scheduling
- With the support of ICUC, addressing and managing any potential social media crises or negative feedback promptly and professionally. Being able to mitigate issues while maintaining the brand's reputation.
- Metrics & channel performance insights
- Keep updated with social media trends, new platforms, and tools

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Analytical Skills: Understanding analytics tools to measure the success of content across channels, engagement rates, and community growth.
Crisis Management: Being able to handle and diffuse sensitive or controversial situations that may arise within the social channel community.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for engaging with community members across various platforms.
Platform Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit) and their specific features to optimize audience engagement.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Content Creation: Creating engaging and relevant content like posts, articles, videos, etc., tailored to the community's interests.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding search engine optimization principles to optimize content for better visibility and reach (eg use of hashtags and keywords)
Team Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, brand, design etc.
Community Building Techniques: Knowledge of community-building strategies to foster engagement.
