Accounts Payable / Front Desk Receptionist

Status: Full-time/Regular employee

Schedule: Mon. – Fri. 8:00a – 5:00p, with an hour lunch. Occasional overtime and some Saturdays.

Pay: $20-$22, negotiable depending on experience.

Benefits: Full Benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability insurance; paid time-off and holidays.

Reports to:  Purchasing Manager


This position will serve as the primary Accounts Payable role. This position involves a significant level of data entry and requires a high level of attention to detail.



  • Serve as primary Accounts Payable role.
  • Serve as a back-up to the receiving process.
  • Serve as a back-up to the front desk reception.
  • Participate in Quarterly Inventory
  • Other job duties as assigned

Accounts Payable

  • Processing invoices.
  • Verifying Supplier Statements.
  • Generating petty cash checks and P-card purchases.
  • Vendor set-up.
  • Daily, weekly, month end and inventory reporting.


  • Two years of experience with Accounts Payable and/or Materials Costing.
  • One to three years of experience in Materials, Inventory, or Cycle Counts, preferred.
  • Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of AS400 strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult situations in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with multiple software platforms (high software learning aptitude)
  • Associate Degree or higher with emphasis on accounts payable or business administration strongly preferred.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and internal customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication. Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization.

  • Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time including extended hours in front of a computer screen.
  • Continuously requires ability to see, hear and speak.
  • Frequently requires sitting, fine dexterity, and standing.
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, work outside and in non-climate-controlled environment, and tolerate exposure to loud noises and machinery, dust and chemicals.
  • Lifting up to 20-lbs.
