Parks Merchandise Finance team is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA). Parks Merchandise Finance team is part of Consumer Products Gaming and Publishing (CPGP), the division of Disney Experiences that brings beloved brands and franchises into the daily lives of families and fans through products – from toys to t-shirts, apps, books, console games and more – and experiences that can be found around the world, including on the shopDisney e-commerce platform and at Disney Parks, local and international retailers, as well as Disney store locations globally.

This team is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and consolidation of the Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Signature Experiences Merchandise financials.

The SFA primary responsibility is supporting CARs as well as supporting the planning and forecasting processes (AOP, Forecast, LTP) for liquidation, Parks e-comm, and other merchandise areas. Given that Merchandise is a complex and dynamic line of business and that this role helps tell the capital investment and liquidation financial story, we are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, communication and relationship skills. This SFA will lead pro forma and business case analysis and develop presentations for senior leadership. This position will be accountable for developing relationships with site operations finance and other operational partners while working closely with parks retail organization.

This position is located in the Orlando, Florida area, reporting to the Senior Manager, Parks Merchandise Finance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the pro forma analysis and CAR process for domestic Parks retail investments

  • Lead the Parks retail capital planning process (LTCP, ACP, and forecast)

  • Lead the liquidation, parks e-comm, and merchandise other financial planning process (Long Term Plan (LTP) / Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / forecasts), ensuring that stakeholders are aligned and management of deliverables

  • Create and deliver presentations for senior executives

  • Partner with site finance teams and parks retail organization to ensure assumptions and impacts related to project / initiatives are thoughtfully considered

  • Develop strategic and financial analyses on Parks retail business

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, analytical ability and strong computer/systems skills. Proven advanced Excel modeling, PowerPoint, SAP, etc. skills required

  • Proven ability to synthesize financial information into a concise story and communicate it effectively, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong technical / automation and familiarity with data visualization tools

  • Proven track record of a positive approach to work and quickly adapting to meet the needs of the business and environment

  • Proven ability to understand a partner’s perspective, while maintaining independence and providing constructive counterpoints, when necessary

  • Ability to influence all levels of organization in a collaborative environment

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to get results through a proactive approach to problem solving, strong detail orientation, meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities, and great partnership skills

  • 3+ years of financial and or business development experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics

Preferred Education

  • MBA or equivalent or CPA

  • Knowledge of Disney Experiences financial planning processes

  • Retail industry knowledge
