Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will support key ESG reporting efforts, including the development of the annual ESG report and related materials. S/he/they will help drive key sustainability programs and initiatives that align to our Healthy 2030 ESG strategy, working with business partners on program execution across all areas of our business. The Senior Analyst will support all pillars of our ESG strategy – Healthy People, Healthy Business, Healthy Community, and Healthy Planet and should be knowledgeable in issues and topics across the full spectrum of environmental, social and governance areas.

The Senior Analyst will leverage project management skills, written and oral communication skills, and research skills to maintain CVS Health’s reputation as a sustainability leader through content development, stakeholder engagement and noteworthy ratings, rankings and recognitions. S/he/they will research and analyze industry best-practices and emerging trends to help leaders build and execute upon key programs that embed sustainability into our business. S/he/they will work in a highly collaborative manner with business partners across the enterprise, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to advance the company’s ESG strategy.

  • Support execution and project management of key sustainability programs and initiatives, including pilots and business integration opportunities
  • Manage content sharing across business teams, including client RFPs/RFIs, relevant scorecards for stakeholder requests such as NGOs, and identifying key content needs for external ESG reporting   
  • Manage reputational ratings and rankings for CSR/ESG/sustainability initiatives on behalf of the company, tracking emerging lists, managing company submissions, etc., for DJSI, UNGC, among others, as well as reporting scorecards such as Sustainalytics, Ecovadis, among others. 
  • Serve as project support for development of the annual ESG report, other sustainability reporting projects and management of sustainability policies.
  • Support research and analysis of industry trends, peer benchmarking, and relevant sustainability news

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, other environmental/social impact work, or communications
  • 1+ years of experience with Office 365; Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Company Network Drive, Sharepoint, Concur, Ariba, Company Interweb and be able to navigate the web.
  • 3+ years of experience in professional work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in sustainability, corporate responsibility, other environmental/social impact work, or communications.
  • Experience and training in reporting frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to create curated content across business units to align and support business and enterprise goals.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional, mid-level leaders with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work product
  • Team player who can build strong relationships and support cross-functional teams
  • Travel up to 5% of the time, as needed, per business needs.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $105,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
