We seek a seasoned leader to join the Global Ad Sales team as Head of Video Strategy Sales Specialists for Northern Europe, covering UK and Germany. This new role will report directly to the Vice President, Video Sales and be the Northern Europe leader for developing the strategic execution for advertising solutions across all Amazon video and streaming properties. This leader will be responsible for the multi-million-dollar opportunity to align and focus our advertising sales strategy across video properties as one Amazon brand propelling us to the top tier in video advertising.

Key job responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing adoption of Amazon Ads. In particular you will:

• Act as a thought leader and senior executive within Amazon Ads. Drive the overall sales function , sales vision, and value proposition to grow our video sales approach across all video properties.
• Drive adoption of Amazon’s video advertising offerings, leading the UK and DE sales Sales Specialist team for streaming TV (STV).
• Own the video Upfront process for Amazon Ads UK and DE
• Contribute to the end-to-end strategy for positioning, pricing, packaging, and planning of Amazon’s STV advertising offerings.
• Work directly with show-runners and producers of Amazon original content to develop branded integration opportunities and unique sponsorships.
• Hire, develop and lead a team of STV advertising sales specialists.

The ideal candidate will possess a revenue and strategic leadership background within video and STV that enables them to drive a comprehensive sales strategy around how Amazon approaches video advertising. This leader will partner cross-functionally across leaders within Amazon’s video properties, and work closely with sales to drive revenue growth in this segment.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience managing teams
- Experience hiring and retaining sales talent
- A self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about sales, business, product, and technical challenges with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
- A strong track record in developing and launching go-to-market strategies within streaming and video.
- A strong track record in buying/selling video advertising.
- Experience leading and executing video and/or Agency Upfronts.
- Experience working with content creators and show-runners to develop advertising opportunities.
- Ability to quickly assess current high-potential opportunity and articulate a compelling vision for the existing teams to rally around and organize to deliver.
- Track record of building programs, such as joint business plans, commercial agreements, inventive structures, and service offerings.
- Proven track record of working with customers to introduce new products, develop market fit, and help the broader organization scale sales of the solution.
- Collaborator with a track record of bringing different functions and teams (Large Customer Sales, Marketing, Content Creators, Finance, etc.) together to build a marketing leading video business.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of digital media (e.g. DSPs, programmatic media, premium digital video, performance advertising)
