As an Associate Director, Business Development – NC3, this position favors a forward-thinking leader to help develop requirements and capabilities to assist in the Nuclear C3 (NC3) modernization efforts to support the DoD.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the business with accurate market, customer, and competitive information in the NC3 area of responsibility. You will serve as the prime consultant and internal and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long -range goals and objectives relating to NC3 platforms.  This position will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with industry partners and recommending alliances, teaming relationships and acquisitions

This position can work remotely however it will be ideal to be located near one of the following locations: Richardson, TX Omaha, NE Washington D.C. Oklahoma City, OK.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifying, qualifying, developing, and capturing new business initiatives in the NC3 and National C3 markets
  • Serrve as a leader on the capture team during all capture activities including, opportunity identification, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, opportunity strategy development and proposal development.
  • Customer relationship building
  • Developing and executing contact plans
  • Advising the organization on NC3 CONPS,
  • Working as part of a team with program management and engineering to develop solutions to highly complex customer problems
  • Develop pursuit strategies and overall NC3 account strategies, and providing accurate and timely orders forecasting 
  • Identify the customer’s most important requirements, and to provide price to win and competitive assessment for relevant pursuits.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of the current NC3 systems and the National/Senior Leader Command and Control Communications capabilities is required.  
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start dateU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A current active TSC
  • A detailed understanding of all NC3 airborne assets, their support assets and their associated communications architectures is desired  
  • Experience with the DoD budget process and DoD acquisition requirements process is desired.
  • Experience with USSTRATCOM, OSD A&S, Service Headquarters (OPNAV/SecNav or HAF/SAF) or Joint staff experience
  • Experience in Service and Joint commands is preferred.

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
