Job Summary:

As a recent college graduate, you’ll have ample opportunity to use your skills and enjoy dynamic experiences. The Commercial Engines Development Program (CEDP) is a two-year rotational program for entry-level employees. Development occurs through four 6-month assignments across Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engine Business in East Hartford, Connecticut. The CEDP will provide growth opportunities and broad exposure to the Commercial Engines Business and aerospace industry, covering experiences across the Customer Business Organization, Geared Turbofan & Mature Commercial Engines. Upon completion of the program, graduates are ready to assume a key position in the Commercial Engines organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with rotational supervisor on high-impact projects in support of key business objectives within Commercial Engines.

  • Deliver report out to Commercial Engines senior leadership team on achieved rotation deliverables at the conclusion of each assignment.

  • Learn new roles and skills within Commercial Engines with intellectual curiosity while being adaptable to new team environments with each rotation.

  • Mentoring of peers within the CEDP as more experienced is gained.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Candidate may alternatively have a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Management, Information Systems or a related field.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

  • Fluent in English (verbal/written).

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

  • A positive, engaged, and enthusiastic work ethic.

  • Adaptability to adjust to new roles and rotational assignments.

  • Ability to work independently or with multi-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
