ABOUT THE POSITION:
Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside team as a Registered Nurse working and sharing your experience across the procedural departments at our state-of-the-art Chermside location. This is a casual position; you will be pivotal in assisting our dedicated team in the care of our patients.

ABOUT YOU:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our procedural departments (Theatre / Endoscopy / Cardiac Cath Labs / PACU and day surgery) for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our procedural team. This is a casual position with a rotating roster.

By working in the procedural departments, you will be exposed to a wide range of patient caseloads evidentially broadening your clinical skills, knowledge and experience. This is a great opportunity to work in our fast-paced procedural teams with state-of-the-art technology and supportive, professional and dynamic teams.

You will be an integral part of the team that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of those you care for, while making a positive contribution to the overall standard of care delivered by the department.

You will join a team of highly skilled multidisciplinary professionals and your enthusiasm and dedication for procedural nursing will be highly valued within a supportive environment.


You will also need to have the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in Theatre, Cardiac Cath Labs, PACU, Endoscopy, Day Surgery is required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment
  • Commitment to excellent patient centred care
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy, in using a range of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work flexibly within other areas of the Hospital as required

REMUNERATION:
The position of Registered Nurse, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Level 1 Year 1 with a base remuneration of: $40.00 - $51.40 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
