The Community Development Sr Mgr accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and deepen a portfolio of local relationships and community development organizations that position Citi as an innovator in Financial Inclusion and Community Development.
  • Management and ownership of contribution and grant budget to develop innovative solutions in Citi’s priority areas
  • Participate in and support Citi’s regulatory obligations by working towards achieving an “Outstanding” rating via fulfillment of annual performance targets, fulfilling commitments and providing performance context.
  • Participate and coordinate in qualified activities that include delivery of financial capability activities with non-profits & schools and positioning of Senior Management on nonprofit boards.
  • Assess reputational risk to the franchise and work with Government Relations, National Initiatives Team, and respective Citi businesses to devise appropriate solutions.
  • Lead and convene community partners and influencers to identify consistent community needs and champion Citi’s efforts and support to address these issues.
  • Represent Citi at public events, community meetings, press conferences and at internal and external visibility opportunities
  • Identify and understand Citi businesses and how to leverage their respective product sets to benefit low and/or moderate income consumers.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in community development work, nonprofit management, public policy initiatives, philanthropy, or banking/lending experience.
  • Experience in innovative program development, charitable contributions and/or Foundation grant writing

Education:
  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree


This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Principales funciones:

1.         Coordinar, proponer y supervisar las actividades del área educativa, atención a públicos y materiales educativos que el Foro ofrece a sus diferentes públicos en respuesta al programa anual

2.         Dirigir y supervisar la atención a los públicos del Foro, capacitación a mediadores, gestión y control de los programas educativos que se ofrecen. Organizar la atención de los visitantes en las modalidades de visita libre o guiada.

3.         Coordinación y supervisión de procesos operativos y de mantenimiento del edificio y los distintos espacios del Foro.

4.         Evaluar e instrumentar acciones para eficientar resultados en los procesos operativos y mantenimiento de equipo de acuerdos a los procedimientos y lineamientos del Foro.

5.         Administrar el presupuesto asignado e inspección de contratos de proveedores  apegándose a las metas programadas para el área.

6.         Realizar los procesos administrativos y de control que se deriven de las actividades del área a su cargo.

Se requiere:

1. 5 años de experiencia en:

  • Manejo de personal     
  • Puestos directivos o gerente de equipos en instituciones culturales       
  • Experiencias en área de educación y atención al público en museos     
  • Conocimiento y ejecución de metodologías didácticas y pedagógicas en museos

2. Inglés avanzado
