Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud (“cloud computing”). With AWS you can requisition compute power, storage, and many other services, gaining access to a suite of elastic IT infrastructure services as your business demands them. AWS is the leading platform for designing and developing applications for the cloud and is growing rapidly with hundreds of thousands of companies in over 190 countries on the platform.

The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for multi-year spend commitments. Private Pricing offers AWS customers the opportunity to accelerate their cloud transformation journeys through multi-year relationships with AWS, delivering maximal value to customers in terms of pricing, access to services, and opportunities to innovate. For Amazon, Private Pricing drives more extensive, deeper, and longer-lasting relationships with customers. Today, Private Pricing largely serves AWS’s enterprise customers seeking to make cloud commitments in exchange for pricing value, and exclusively serves customers brought in via AWS or partner sellers. Private Pricing is poised to grow both revenue and margin by expanding access to Private Pricing and by expanding the value proposition of AWS for Private Pricing customers.

GDSP is seeking a Rockstar performer to join Private Pricing Operations within our Private Pricing Channel Services team, a global organization responsible for developing and executing the AWS omnichannel vision. In Private Pricing Operations, your responsibilities will focus on developing a deep understanding of the customer journey in order to accelerate the business’s ability to scale. You will be expected to work with ambiguity against established frameworks with minimal guidance and demonstrate business judgment to communicate with sales teams and internal stakeholders. You should demonstrate bias for action to achieve deal velocity while maintaining high quality deliverables and an improved seller experience, take ownership of the private pricing request process from intake to proposal, and lead key projects to support the Private Pricing omnichannel vision and next phase of Private Pricing’s growth.

Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Work/Life Harmony:
Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.

Mentorship and Career Growth:
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
