Job Description

The Ads Pricing & Yield Financial Analyst, will provide financial leadership to the broader Ads Finance organization developing a proactive approach to pricing, incentives, and deals to drive adoption and growth of Amazon Ads products. This role is focused on analyzing the performance of the high visibility Video products (Prime Video, Twitch and Freevee). The successful candidate will own Video reporting processes on KPIs, price controls and implementations while uncovering insights to guide sales negotiations with media companies.

Key job responsibilities
- Reports to Yield and Pricing Video Manager, and partners with the Streaming TV Upfront Program Managers, Video Finance team, and Media Agency managers to provide insights through reporting and analysis for the Streaming TV business.
- Owns the price incentive program for all Video, properties, including the upcoming launch of Prime Video Ads
- Creates the necessary reporting and analytical capabilities for price management (KPI, Dashboards).
- Updates pricing plans in the internal systems of record
- Communicates quarterly list prices to the sales organization through internal mechanisms and system publications

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
