Job Description

Amazon’s Singapore Instock team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical leader to help redefine how Amazon fulfills customer demand for our Hardlines and Media business.

We are looking for a smart, analytical, and innovative team member who can help solve problems in a scalable way that will support rapid growth as well as our long-term business strategy. A successful candidate possesses superb business judgment, instock, supply chain, or operations management experience, strong skills in working collaboratively and cross functionally, and a track record of delivering results. This person will have strong analytical capabilities, including experience handling large and complex data sets as well as understanding inputs into system driven demand forecasts. The position requires an individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization.

A successful Instock Manager must:

- Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and unhealthy reduction.
- Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
- Lead the business demand plan to provide all necessary inputs to a sustainable and accurate S&OP
- Design seasonal and promotional inventory preparation plan

- Work with internal teams at an international platform to drive system, tools and process improvements/ implementation that effect purchasing and vendor management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Singapore, SGP

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
