Additional duties include the following:

• Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems

• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

• When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools

• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines

• Must own tools applicable to position

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

As a Service Tech III within the Fluid division at United Rentals, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of dryers and pumps. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you’ll have the potential to work towards higher level Tech roles in our Service Department. Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining dryers and pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers

• Own the tools applicable to position

• Knowledge of construction equipment

• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

As a Service Tech III within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification equipment. Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment

• Intermediate to advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems

• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines

• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams

• Own the tools applicable to position

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

• Perform intermediate level diagnostics and repairs on a variety of Tools and systems utilizing working knowledge of schematics and diagrams

• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed

• When required travel to customer site for repair/maintenance of rental or owned equipment

• May assist in the pick up and delivery of equipment and parts to and from outside vendors and other United Rentals, Inc. locations for purchase and/or repair

• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining Specialty Tools

• Must own tools applicable to position

• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

• Working knowledge of schematics and diagrams

• Working knowledge of Specialty Tools; manufacturers’ warranty access; and work order/time spent accounting

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to coach and mentor less experienced service technicians
