JOB TITLE: Product Owner – SAP S4/HANA Finance  

This role would be part of SAP Techno-functional team which would be responsible for liaison between business finance and Information technology teams. This position will be responsible for the day to day support of the finance business processes and would be instrumental in reviewing requirements, design and work with development teams. This person must have a strong understanding of the various integration points between the SAP Finance module(s) and other SAP modules (Order to Cash, Procure To Pay, Direct to Consumer and Master Data Governance) for S4 Fashion.

How You Will Make a Difference: 

• Support and lead the area of SAP S/4 Finance and IT support relevant Financial applications
• Participate in the SAP S/4 upgrade projects and continuous improvement initiatives as the SAP Finance SME
• Support and lead the area financial reporting

• Take part of design, build, testing, data migration, and training activities during the project, as well as relevant activities once in support
• Validate and document configurations, enhancements, development, and underlying processes.
• Coordinate with Finance users to understand functional requirements to identify and develop solutions.
• Understand the implemented configuration and VF’s finance processes to design future finance solutions, enhancements, and continuous improvements for SAP based VF’s business priorities and initiatives.

• Take part in the segregation of duties and Security role definitions for users in the SAP Finance space.
• Provide input on and oversight of internal processes with respect to SAP master data, hierarchies and reporting.

• Oversee other financial applications as they are introduced to the VF’s IT Global Systems ERP support model.
• Collaborate with user, business units, and other IT teams to deliver SAP best practices to VF
• Manage and satisfy SAP audit controls and pertinent SOX program requirements as needed.
• Support monthly financial close and forecasting processes, as well as budget and planning.
• Transition the project to support, leading the daily support (incidents and service requests), maintenance and continuous improvement of SAP environment
• Develop VF’s SAP best practices to facilitate change management and end user adoption of new technologies and processes in the Finance space.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-8+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferably in the engineering, technology, or finance field. Relevant SAP certification is a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience with the following SAP modules: FI-GL, AR, AP, Credit and Asset Management, Special Ledger FI-SL, Project Systems, Bank Accounting, Foreign Currency and/or Treasury etc
• SAP ABAP experience would be preferred.
• Experience with integrations between SAP and non-SAP Finance / Procurement applications, such as in the areas of Procurement, HR, Analytical, Budget/Forecasts and Order-to-Cash.
• Experience working with third parties, such as banks, to exchange information through middleware solutions.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical.
• Experience in leading financial operations for Product & Technology groups preferred.
• Experience in documentation and participation in unit testing, integration testing, and cutover activities related to SAP Finance.
• Experience with Coupa would be preferred
• Corporate Finance, Digital Payments, Retails Point of Sale Store and Omni-channel related finance background would be an preferred
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: 

• Travel by air and overnight, as required 20% amount of time. 
• Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs of weight.

Hiring Range:

$105,600.00 USD - $132,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
