Program Summary
Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that provides hardware and software sustainment of large IT systems. Contractors perform dataflow changes, lifecycle management including modernization of aging hardware and software, as well as system monitoring. Job Summary
The Technical Writer is responsible for the for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) years of experience as a Tech Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years of experience. Alternatively, four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- TS/SCI with polygraph
Pay Range:
Pay Range $75,400.00 - $136,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
