We are in search of a Senior Project Manager in either Reston, VA and/or Fort Meade, MD.
**This position will need to be local for easy commutable distance to either Reston or the Ft. Meade customer site and will also support a hybrid (customer/telework) schedule. ***
Our Opportunity:
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. This Sr. Project Manager will oversee capability development and implementation supporting initiatives intended to enhance the environment and enable successful large-scale migrations and manages the program-level IMS to allocate resources across multiple projects. They will manage an Agile Team to ensure product delivery is on time and track and mitigate risks to cost and schedule. The ideal candidate can multitask and can prioritize tasks based on leadership and customer feedback. Candidates must have strong customer relationship management skills. Ensuring solutions are delivered with high quality and in a timely manner is a key priority.
Clearance Requirement:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)
Key Responsibilities:
•Create project management plans, set expectations, and ensure plans are driven by organizational procedures.
•Develop, manage and monitor IMS schedule of program milestones and timelines.
•Monitor Jira Agile projects, including Agile Kanban board and program increments (PIs).
•Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and remain in scope; monitor and track project dependencies.
•Manage project delivery and coordinate project execution for multiple Agile Teams.
•Manage all program Change Requests.
•Deconflict resources / technical dependencies across the program.
•Track and verify the attainability contract objectives, evaluate progress toward meeting program objectives.
•Identify and document performance and schedule risks and make recommendations for mitigating risk and lowering costs.
•Create high-quality presentations and briefing status to key stakeholders.
•Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per organizational/program standards.
•Make decisions at the project team-level and properly escalate issues that cannot be resolved timely.
Must have’s:
•Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience running multiple concurrent projects using Jira.
•Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
•Experience managing multiple technical resources.
•Experience managing multiple high-level projects in a fast-paced environment.
•Proven experience coordinating and synchronizing a number of IT projects, developing and maintaining a master schedule, developing and maintaining a high-level budget, and preparing senior management communication briefs.
•Proven experience briefing senior management and working with commercial vendors.
•Experience utilizing MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
•Proven experience streamlining processes and procedures.

•Any Project Management Institute Certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, CAP, PMI-SP).
•Any Agile certification (e.g., PMI ACP, AgilePM, PSM).

Pay Range:
Pay Range $128,050.00 - $231,475.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
