Leidos is seeking a Sustainability Manager who will be responsible for

 developing and implementing sustainability strategies focused on the built environment. This includes managing and overseeing  sustainability issues surrounding building energy consumption and emissions, as well as leading research and analysis used to develop sustainability strategies for infrastructure and installations. The Sustainability Manager will also promote and explain the organization's sustainability philosophy to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Main Objective:

  • Manage and oversee energy and sustainability projects focused on the buildings, infrastructure, and the built environment.
  • Lead research and analysis used to develop sustainability strategies
  • Provide direct project support to installation energy, water, waste, and recycling initiatives
  • Promote and explain sustainability strategies to multiple internal and external stakeholders

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field and 8-12 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental compliance, or a related field
  • Familiarity with carbon sequestration, waste/circulation/recycling, sustainable procurement, zero emission vehicles, and FHCs
  • Experience with DoD installation and buildings energy infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

You Might Also Have:

  • Familiarity with DoD installation energy, water, waste, and recycling assessments
  • Understanding clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction solutions in the built environment
  • Previous engagement in climate and clean energy projects with government agencies, utilities, non-profits, or international organizations
  • Familiarity with the Defense Climate Assessment Tool (DCAT)
  • Proficient in facilitating stakeholder groups to reach consensus

Pay Range:

Pay Range $84,500.00 - $152,750.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
