Leidos is seeking a Climate and Energy Program Manager to join our Climate, Energy, and Environment Portfolio within the Leidos Civil Group overseeing projects and programs related to installation resilience, sustainability, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and mitigation, and Executive Order implementation.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

The Climate and Energy Program Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and securing resources necessary to provide technical assistance in the fields of energy resilience, facilities and utility infrastructure, renewable energy, and energy efficiency measures, and serve as technical advisor to DoD and other government stakeholders. The Climate and Energy Project Manager will assist with the development of strategic plans for the collection and management of energy and emissions data and will recommend best practices for increasing resilience and reducing emissions at installations and across multiple sources and sectors.

The Climate and Energy Program Manager will:

  • Manage projects providing support to federal customers with strategic and tactical solutions to enhance installation energy resilience and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement management plans, tasking and production, and ensure that deliverables are met on time and on budget.
  • Identify high priority areas for installation resilience initiatives and emissions reduction actions.
  • Interface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel.
  • Manage, analyze, and synthesize data in support of key decision briefs.
  • Draft executive summary reports and white papers for climate and energy related data, including briefings, position papers, and similar analytical products in support of the customer.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General) or related field and at least 4 years relevant PM experience managing projects and/or programs
  • Experience with tracking and accounting GHG emissions and resilience initiatives
  • Strong technical, quantitative, and analytic capabilities including technical report writing and advanced data and spreadsheet analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within cross functional teams

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with Department of Defense energy and sustainability initiatives
  • Experience with energy conservation and renewable energy projects
  • Understanding of data management, environmental reporting, and data integrity

Pay Range:

Pay Range $66,300.00 - $119,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
