• Facility:  Ascension Seton - Rivery Georgetown
• Department: Urgent Care
• Schedule: PRN | One shift per week l Monday - Saturday 8 AM - 8 PM | Sunday 9AM - 5 PM 

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by preparing patients for evaluations, collecting accurate histories and vital signs, keeping patients informed throughout their visit, and maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and infection prevention.
• Support providers during procedures, perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, ensure accurate documentation and specimen handling, and keep exam rooms, equipment, and supplies fully prepared.
• Support efficient patient flow across the clinic by anticipating and removing workflow bottlenecks to maintain optimal daily operations.
• Adapt responsibilities seamlessly during changing patient volumes and actively assist teammates across both clinical and non-clinical tasks wherever needed.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Association for Health Professionals obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date OR job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date OR job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date OR job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date OR job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date OR job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Preferences:

• Travel Required: Various clinic locations between Georgetown,  Round Rock, and Westlake
• Certified with at least one year of CMA experience

• New Urgent Care Clinics opening in 2027 - December start date
