SeasonalVehicle Shifters

Looking for a seasonal opportunity where you can put your driving skills to work in a fast-paced environment? As a seasonal vehicle shifter, you'll help keep UPS operations moving by repositioning and backing trailers for loading, unloading, and staging on UPS property. Depending on the facility, you may move trailers off property.

This seasonal role combines driving with hands-on work in an active environment. You'll play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of packages and operations across UPS facilities.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules may vary from day to day.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or tractor trailer
• Ability to safely maneuver and back trailers into designated locations
• Valid driver’s license—CDL required
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement may be needed depending on location
• Pass the DOT physical
• Pass a UPS driver test
• Excellent driving skills and a satisfactory driving history
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes
• Ability to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
